During a briefing for teachers and principals of Sekolah Rakyat at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Sofia Rorista Angel’s emotional recording expressed her sincere gratitude to President Prabowo for changing her life through education provided by Sekolah Rakyat.
Sofia explained how Sekolah Rakyat had transformed her life, previously limited, into one full of hope and opportunity. She thanked President Prabowo for his care and support towards children in the East, despite his busy schedule running the country. Sofia compared President Prabowo to a parent who had brought her from darkness to light.
She shared her determination to achieve her dreams, attributing her success to the opportunity given by President Prabowo to study at Sekolah Rakyat. Sofia also sent warm greetings and prayers for the President’s well-being from Kupang, the City of Stone. President Prabowo was moved to tears as he listened to her touching message.
Sekolah Rakyat, a priority program launched by the administration on July 14, 2025, aims to provide inclusive and quality education for children from low-income families nationwide. Sofia’s heartfelt message showcases the positive impact of this program on the lives of Indonesian children.
